It looks thicker than it actually is because it's so puffy. To me it just looks like brushed-out 2c or 3a hair, braided loosely.

I agree 100%. I can make my hair (which is thick) look superthick by braiding it like she does. If I brush out the waves when my hair is dry, it'll look even bigger.

Beautiful woman with gorgeous hair, though :)

Yeah, I agree, though I'm guessing it's still rather decently thick. But I've been known to brush my hair out when it's wavier or if I've curled it and it can double in volume because it becomes so fluffy. My hair loves to pretend it's thick. :D

Its poofy yes, but you can't fake thickness in a compact braid. Her hair is so gorgeous.

Pretty hair, thick, poofy but like jaine said, it isn't tightly braided, which makes it look a lot thicker.

If I brush out braidwaves mine can look like that. Ordinarily though, my straight hair doesn't always look as thick as when there's braidwaves in it, even though I still have thick hair.

Oh gosh the red head....

I mean I have seen some indian ladies with literally a ton of hair...and thick braids as thick as a ship's rope...sigh...I think i get hair anorexic or so ;)

No matter how much I'd brush my wurls and waves out, how loosely I'd braid... I would never have that thickness. One of those sections look like my entire hair haha Her hair is truly gorgeous.

Thanks for the link, julliams! She has incredible hair, but she is not plaiting her hair snugly, so it seems larger than life, as it were. Still, amazing texture and length and color!

They are both thick and lovely but this link Wow! At first, I didn't think it was real!
