Whenever I am out and I see long hair, I jump and shriek for joy (for real). Haha. Let's post pics of our TB length and longer hair-- I need inspiration and long hair eye candy!

PS. I just bought coconut oil and castor oil after reading all about it on the boards. I will do a deep conditioning soon!

Oh man, I'm (guessing) a year away from TB length and these pics make the wait even harder! Especially since my hemline tends to taper when I just neglect my hair to get length. I'll probably have the hemline evened out in a couple of months again and lose those precious inches while I remind myself "good things come to those who wait". Beautiful pictures everyone!

Well, at that point I hadn't learned how to make buns that didn't hurt, so I was stuck with either ponytailing or braiding. And once you get to tailbone length, it gets really annoying to have to move it out of the way every time you sit down.

But yeah, I kind of turn into Cousin Itt once I hit tailbone.

In my case, both. But more up or braided than all loose, to protect it, and also so that it doesn't tangle so much. But I love it loose too, so I use to wear it down twice a week, more or less.

Just woke up and in my PJs! Anyway the pic shows I am at TB now. My hair is funny because some days the wurl will literally steal inches but I do think I am solidly there now despite that. I still need some time to let the rest of my hair catch the longer bits and for the hemline to thicken up. The bottom of the shot is Classic which is my goal. It doesn't seem so unattainable in this picture, but that is still a lot of inches!

But, for the moment, I prefer a blunter hemline and thicker ends regarding my own hair.

Yes, I agree! Piggy I have some serious shoe envy every time I see that picture. But even more so, I am envious you can walk in heels that high. My feet would undoubtedly strike + protest and I'd be out of commission for weeks. They are just so dang cute though.

Thank you :) Yes, the grass is always greener, absolutely! I can brush my hair as many times as I want, and it's easy to know your length because straight hair just lies there, but I really like the volume and changeability you wurly-haired people get. One 'problem' about very straight hair can be the fact that it 'just lies there'!

I can walk in those heels, they fit my ridiculously small feet and they are so comfortable. The only thing that disagrees is my credit card. :(

Piggy's shoes are Lubus and yeah, they have small sizes. They pinch the purse a good bit, but oh they are sooooo worth it!

I wear my hair up most of the time. Otherwise it's all over me and in the way; it's a hazard, too. I don't let it down unless I have time to watch out for it and enjoy it.

This thread is a wonderful motivator!! I am very jealous of you all. But it definitely makes me not want to have short hair again. I had TB length hair from the time I was little until I was a junior in high school. My mom never allowed me to cut more than maybe 1/2 an inch every time I got it trimmed and then it had to be bluntly cut. I wish I was still at TB but I rebelled a little... so I had to restart my journey.

it depends on how much she trims it and how fast it grows. though i think the picture pixxie stix quoted was actually knee length..

ive trimmed my hair over 33 inches in the last 4 years and managed to go from shoulder to classic length..

I grew it to put it up, and put it up I do, barring the occasional hair-down photo op. ;) I still haven't quite found a way to keep my scalp happy, but my hair (like it is in the picture) enjoys what I throw at it (mostly washing once a week and oiling light and heavy with coconut oil in the meantime).

okay, so these three photos are somewhere around tailbone length. it was taken over a series of several months where I was trimming to get rid of my layers, you can see where the hemline is evening out. The pictures are not to scale to each other so it looks like my hair have gotten shorter but I was still gaining small amounts of length during this time.

Great thanks for the info. This makes me feel better about the trim I desperately need. If only I could get my SO "trained" to trim my hair :) Your routine sounds like mine, but your hemline and curls really are spectacular.
