View Full Version : Bangs (fringe) or no Bangs?

I need some opinions. I'm kind of torn. I used to love to wear bangs but right now my bangs have grown out down to my chin..so they don't exist anymore. Below are two pictures, one with and one with out. Please help me decide if I should cut some bangs or if it's too young for me to do so. I'm a young 41 year old. The one with bangs was taken just last year. The other one is about 8 years old.

I personally think both are cute, which I know doesn't help you. But bangs are adorable on you! You can always grow them back out...

you look good either way. if you do end up getting bangs, you could always try new ways to get them cut/wear them. That's why i love mine (:

You look really cute with the bangs! I'd get bangs, but then again, I'm getting some tomorrow, so I might be biased :)

You have a nice face shape--I don't think you need bangs.

Ok it's DONE! I don't think I did such a bad job. I have a cowlick on the right side so that's why it MIGHT look lopsided.

Your bangs turned out nice! I love wispy bangs; the way you cut yours really seems to suit you.

Wow...they turned out awesome! Of course, if it were me (enable enable enable) I'd cut just a scoooooooooootch thicker...a li'l closer to the top pic. ;) (/enable off)

Gorgeous...bangs suit you.

Glenna, my hair is actually very fine and I havent figured out how to make my bangs thicker. :(

Your bangs look really nice
I just cut mine as well
First I did twist and cut methood ...to get the sides longer
Then I did razor cutting...so I wouldn't have a straight line
I am approaching forty and figured.....cheap way to hide those forehead wrinkles!!LOL

Oh! Gotcha. I have the same issue with fringe type bangs. I have tried so many times to get China doll bangs but it's not to be. :p

I LOVE the look of the fringe on you.

I'm getting fringe cut in tomorrow when I go for a trim. I'm SKEERED! But hair grows...

Sienna Miller once described her relationship with her bangs as a love-hate relationship. It's so true. When you don't have one, you keep wanting and wanting, seeking how great everyone looks with it. After a while maintaining it, you end up deciding to grow it out, only for it to reach about chin length and then you start all over again!
