:D :D :D Im so happy! For years I have struggled with braiding my own hair, and finally.. the other day my mom sat down in front of me and showed me how she french braided her own hair. Her hair is bleached and very damaged x.x plus it's short.. around shoulder. and she sheds a lot. our hair is almost the same, though mine is curlier. after three tries today.. I got it!! Whoopie!! :cheese:

Congrats! when i had really long waist lengh extensions in i would do a low french braid to the side. that was super easy and a few pieces came loose which helped make it look fun.

You succeed, I'm happy for you. I watched a tutorial a few days ago showing how to french braid, I understood the process. But I still can't do it :)

I understand.. ): I would get so frustrated because I understood, but just couldn't get it. My mom just sat there laughing at me while I did it and told me to braid using big sections. teehee

yay! I finally figured it out a few weeks ago with youtube :D

way to go!

I have found it to be the easiest to french braid just after a shower with my hair soaking wet. And when I use a BBB it gets all shiny:cheese:

Congratulations!! :flowers:
I stuggled for the longest time myself with French and Dutch braiding - indeed, one year ago I considered it the most arcane of hair mysteries.
And then suddenly my fingers made one! :cheese:

I will! I'll start trying the double french braids.. My mom just taught me how to do that on other people's hair.. so I shall try it on mine. :D
