French Braid Tutorial?

I have long wanted to learn to French Braid. I have tried via verbal instructions I received years ago, but this is one braid I cannot do.

It may sounds silly, being as it is such a common braid and so many people know how to do it, but I have never been able to get the knack.:sorry:

With the new TLHC I could not find a section with updo and braid tutorials. There may already be one here or I may be repeating a thread....

Would someone be so kind as to help me find some instructions so I finally learn to make a French Braid on myself and others? I really love them- I especially would love to learn to do two French braids on myself.

I recently figured out how to do two Dutch braids, which are just French braids upside down. If you'd like me to help, ask me.

If you go to youtube, they have many tutorials on how to braid hair. www.youtube.com and then type in french braid. This is how I learned to do the fishbone/herringbone braid. :)
