Hello, hello everyone. I am barely sliding in at the end of my anniversary month, so I thought I'd give you all an update.

Lest we forget, my starting length, back in 2009.

My 1 year photo.

And today:

So... yay!

My hair has definitely shrunk while I've had dreads, I'm sure it would be at least bsl otherwise. But, that's part of the process. My pre-dreaded length can be seen in my siggy.

Have a lovely day!

Very encouraging to see all that growth, and your dreads are looking great!

Awesome.
How are you finding dreadlock up-keep? :)

Your dreads are looking good! Can you link me to a site that tells how you form dreads? It's not something I want for myself, but I think they're cool and I'd love to know more about the process. :)

I saw someone with almost floor length dreads about a month ago. They looked really good, too. Unfortunately I was in a car and didn't get a chance to see them up close.

Thanks every one!

@Lady Dragon - I'm finding it way easy. :) I'm going very natural with my dreads, basically letting them do their own thing as muich as possible, so besides washing, seperating them and palmrolling, I'm leaving them alone.

@jeanniet - everything I needed to know about dreads I learned from Get Up Dread Up (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=get_up_dread_up)

Cool! I loved palmrolling my friend's dreads.
I had loose dreads for a little while, mostly because my hair tries to dread itself... eek!

Not on my phone, so I can respond properly now, lol.

I totally love palmrolling them! I've never told anyone that, lol. But they feel so cool when they swish between my fingers and I love the crazy shapes they make. The closest I got was talking two of my besties into running their fingers over some of the weirder lumpy ones, lol. I think that's a story that stays between us tho, lol. (And LHC, apparently.)

Gorgeous dreadies!!!
Thanks you! Are you still rocking your undercut? I'm so jealous you have the features for it. ;p

Thank you! I'm really curious how long it actually is, but not curious enough to comb it out, lol.
