Ok i'm sorry I know there are ALOT of these but i'm still clueless ... this is the first time i've ever managed not to comb/touch etc my hair while its drying. its very difficult it took around 10 hours and the stupid underlayer bit next to my scalp is still all cold and wet  so i always thought of my hair as uncooperatively straight but after seeing this i guess not? so i know that im in the 1/2 area but where exactly? thanks!

Hmm, I think your hair looks like 2a, but I can kinda see it as being typed as 1c/2a as well.

I saw 2a/2b, because I see wurls very similar to my own that I get! :)

Those waves look pretty determined, so I'm thinking 2a rather than 1c. I don't think the wave pattern is quite tight enough for 2b, though.

I'd definitely say a 2a. Not wurly enough for a 2b IMO.

I'd say 2A. And, it is a very pretty color!

Hmm. I guess 2a - it seems like most of your hair is on the 1c/2a border, but then you have a couple of spiral curls! So I'd go with 2a.

Hello people. I am new here. I would like to know my hair type as well. Should I just reply to this thread?

I would make your own thread with a picture of your hair, clarified and let loose to dry with no touching it! Then we can get an idea. :)

That said, I think the original poster's hair is 2a

I vote 2a! (I love hairtyping threads. Fun to see all the different kinds o' hair out there.)

I'll go with 2a as well. The top part appears straighter because it's weighed down, but I don't think that's enough to call it 1c hair. I think if your hair were shorter it would look even wavier, so I'll go with solid 2a.
