I couldn't take it anymore
I have been growing since march...not long I know
I had a super short pixie...maybe an inch on top at most...maybe even half an inch
Now at this stage it was becoming a horrible mullet
I promised I wouldnt cut for three years
Last time I had long hair was wedding day...16 years ago
Then three kids later ...I kept is short
I must say...cutting the back straight...has given me more motivation now to grow
As the sides...cover the ears and the top is slowly catching up
Now the growing begins...nice and thick
Healthy...and all henna !!!
:cheese:

That must feel pretty good! I got frequent trims to keep the edges of my growing-out pixie shaped up. It made me feel a lot better about how I looked.

Thanks guys
Spider mom....so true ..makes the growing so much easier
And I look like I have a style
I still have to post photos ...in my hair journey
From bleached blonde pixie
To now super dark..almost black henna / indigo mix!
I stopped washing with shampoo
There is so much I have leaned here
No more flat iron for me!!
This site is amazing!

I love that style! :D

I trimmed my mullet as well but now I let it grow because I want to make a tiny pony.. but the mullet is such a horrible look, sigh :P

I hate the mullet, so I trimmed too. It stalled my overall growth, obviously, but it meant liking my hair and wanting to let it grow rather than hating the way it looked and feeling like I wanted to chop it all off. Worth it to me.

I agree...even though I was able to pin the mullet up
When it was down it was just soooo wrong
The ends are so much thicker now!
Might as well enjoy every step of the growing journey
Then hate it!
