Tonight I have really shiny hair!!

This is amazing for me! Being a wavy/curly, it's rare for me to have SOFT, SHINY, manageable hair!! I washed it last night, but my curls/waves didn't come out nicely so since then I've brushed it several times, put olive oil in, put an oil-type product in, experimented with different hairstyles and put watered down conditioner in as a leave-in. After being brushed again with a boar bristle brush, it's come out like this!! I'm so excited! This may not be shiny compared to the 1s on the site, but for me it is :D. Anyway...on to the pics...

That's just how I wish my hair would look lol- it's curly too and rarely shiny. If you don't mind I have a small question- how did you apply the olive oil? I think we have similar hair types and I might just try this sometime... though I'm sure my results won't be half as lovely as yours! :)
