I'm still new so I hope this is the right place to ask this question. I'm looking to buy some grapeseed oil (I'm planning on mixing it with castor oil) and I found this product:
Heritage Products Pure Expeller Pressed Grapeseed Oil
By the looks of it, "expeller pressed" seems like a good thing. But I couldn't find much information when it comes to hair/scalp care. Will it be ok to use this expeller pressed grapeseed oil? Or should I look for regular oil instead?
Thanks in advance :)

I seem to think that expeller pressed would be better than non-expeller pressed, as that means the oil was mechanically rather than chemically extracted.

Thank you Khiwanean! That's what I thought, but I wanted to double-check with the experts here

Expeller pressed is indeed better. It means that no heat was used in the extraction process, so the more delicate lipids remain intact :)

In the kosher section of my local Walmart, they sell the expeller pressed grapeseed oil. It is a 16 oz bottle for $4.85...
Just wanted to mention that in an effort to possibly save shipping costs for you!

Thank you diverbel! :flower: I bought it through Vitacost and ordered some other stuff too, so it wasn't that bad. I didn't think about Walmart! I will check it out next time.
