Hormones and Hair!

Hey ladies! Hope all of your hair growing goals are going swimmingly! I am just inquiring about the relationship to our hormones and how it affects the shape, texture, split-end rates etc. of our hair. I have been on spironolactone for about 3 months now for PCOS and I have found it has made my hair even more thick, course and unmanageable than ever before! It is also making it break into pieces (which it has never done before). Any good advice, articles, or discussions would be most welcome! Much love hairmigos

I really don't have much to contribute except that when I was on medication and the birth control pill, it messed up my hormones and my hair's health. Now that I"m off the medication, my hair has never been happier or healthier. Adding hormones to my body was a bad thing, in my case.
