Haha if it didn't wreck my hair I'd flat iron it all the time!!! Unfortunately, it seems to have done too much damage to my hair soooo... I've quit it. But there are times I definitely miss it, because I still feel it's the only way I can make my hair look truly nice! (I do hope this changes as my hair condition improves...)

If your hair can handle it then more power to you! My hair will put up with A LOT- styling, sulfates, hurricane force wind...but not heat :(.

My hair is so short that part of it is a buzz cut. And I keep it that way. I really don't think anyone cares. Unless you start complaining about damage, then people will say "D'uh, you used a flat iron!" But you know about that, don't you?

I'll join you guys at your salon UltraBella. My entire head of hair is bleached blonde, and I had it both blown out AND flat-ironed straight in my avatar picture. That should make me PUBLIC ENEMY #1 on LHC! :demon:

I doubt it ;-) I bleach the front of my hair out WHITE and then dye it wild colors. My natural color is dark brown. I'm pretty sure the biggest rule here -I say as someone who hasn't been around since the old forums crashed - is that *you* like your hair.

Well, you'll have to be careful about it, obviously. You're an F, and a lot of Fs have trouble with hair that is easily damaged.

But hell, if your flat-ironed hair makes you happy, then awesome! Flat irons hold no temptation for me, mostly because I look slightly like a drowned rat with straight hair, but I know that they make others' hair look straight and silky and awesome.

Treat with caution, and have fun!
