How do you do this?

Does anyone here have an idea how one might be able to do Murron's hairstyle from Braveheart? In specific, the one she has when she is walking through the town after the wedding. It looks like some of it is in some sort of flipped-over ponytail to me, but I haven't been able to get it to work with my own hair.

Is this the style? It does look like a flipped ponytail (one at the end of the day, with a hairtie just a little too loose that you've tried to tighten repeatedly), started a little higher than the middle of the back of your head. That would let it get a little poofy underneath.

There may be a better picture in the movie, I was working off youtube videos. :p
