Between recovering from lumbar spinal fusion surgery last year and getting ready to start university in the fall, I haven't been here. Hello again. :}

I do come bearing pictures of my growth.

7 months ago:

I was just hitting classic length.

Today:

I think the ends are starting to thicken up a bit, too. Three inches of growth!

The fan was blowing the wisps around, so I twisted the ends a bit:

And, here it is in a ponytail prior to bunning it:

My husband measured my hair a couple of weeks ago at 48 inches. My ponytail by itself is 3 feet! So happy. :cheese:

The longest racers were over 49 inches today, but I don't count them.

WOW that is an amazing streak you have in that amazing length!! Your hair is incredible!

I had spinal fusion on two levels in my neck - so I feel ya. It's a terrible experience. I'm glad you're back at it and on LHC again. Yay!

Wow, is that streak natural? It's awesome looking, both down and pulled back! Your hair looks lovely and soft.

Yeah, I just got over most of the residual nerve pain from the surgery. Now the surgeon wants to stabilize my sacroiliac joints, too. That one is going to wait a bit.

Thank you for the compliments. :}

BlazingHeart, unfortunately, the streak is not natural. I've been bleaching it and adding silver tint to it for a few years.

As I'm getting more and more natural silver hairs, I'm hoping they do something similar...but I doubt I'd be that lucky.

Nice length. I got there, but the ends were trashed.

Well, however you've managed to achieve that streak - be it bleach or life's experiences - it's still an amazing highlight in an absolutely gorgeous head of hair!

I never understand why it is that hair my length always looks so much longer, fuller and flat out fabulous on other women than it does on me. :o(
