Cut My Own Bangs!

I have to share pictures because I'm proud of myself! I have been thinking about getting bangs for a few months, but I didn't want to go get them done anywhere. My SIL recently cut my niece's bangs into cute side bangs, and I was inspired to do my own. I followed a video on YouTube, and I'm happy with the results. :cheese:

I remember one time my Mom asked me to cut her bangs... They were so short and messed up after I got done with them LMAO. I'm suprised she didn't disown me - but she DID ask for it, right? :D

I also cut my own fringe/bangs and the first time I cut them... let's just say my Mum's jaw dropped in horror! :D They look much better now!

I cut my bangs straight across to about my nose to get most of the length off, and then I cut up into my bangs like she shows to get the bangs to the length I wanted.

I was worried about the general upkeep of bangs, and I have wavy hair as well that does funny things at shorter lengths, but so far it has been pretty simple. I did blow dry them after a wash and I used a straightner, but it only took about 3 minutes of extra work. I'm on day two since washing, and they still look pretty good - I wash twice a week.
