I know it's silly...just a pony tail. I tried to put my hair up in a high pony tonight and it was so droopy. I want a nice perky tight to my head one. Like my hair weighs too much and pulls it down. Ideas?

I just use a regular elastic and tie it as tight as I can (pantyhose elastics just don't cut it). But it still droops after a few hours and it pulls on my scalp.

Ooh!! Nice!! The hair sticks stabilizes the knotted part right? I'm just wondering if it'll still droop after a while or if it holds like a bun. Can someone who has tried it clarify that please?

ETA: ok never mind me! I just did that in 5 seconds and got my answer :o it does hold up the way buns do

OMG! I have this EXACT problem!
No matter how tight (or loose) I make my ponytail, or wrap the elastic, i always comes out droopy. Never perky and bouncy. It just hangs there, lank, stringy and sorta "flat".
I recconed this had to do with my hair texture and extremely fine strands. But maybe there is some kind of trick to it? I'll be following this thread :)

BTW, I really liked that knotted pony (Torrin Page's tutorials rock!), but my hair is still way too short for it :(
