Spotted at the lake in its natural habitat ... poor weaves are often hunted, and violently attached to human heads where they can no longer graze on sand plants ! Help save the weaves . http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g309/deathORdie/104_7144.jpg hee hee

I have never seen a weave in the wild. Occasionally I see them in captivity, though. Maybe they aren't native to the Pacific Northwest? Gotta be careful about that, If they escape they can wipe out the indigenous populations. :nono:

I do no understand how it could just fall out! That would hurt, i get maybe individual braids but weaves are either glued (not highly suggested) or the most common way, sewed on to cornrows on your head...so that must hurt if someone actually ripped it off!!
Or they just had a bad braider. :p Hopefully, ive seen a girl pull out a girls braid out before in a fight, not pretty!

I'll be on the lookout for weaves in their natural habitat - I've never seen a wild one...they must be rather elusive in these parts.

Ouch! I love to surf, but I guess it would be more likely to be a cat fight than a some kind of water sport accident. Reminds me of my twin cousins who would get into argument and snap off all their fake nails slapping at each other. :)

Oh LOLZ! I'm trying to figure out how I've missed this thread!

I've actually had an encounter with one of these elusive creatures myself. In the late 90s, I ended up spending a few nights in a shelter in Sikeston, MO (long story). I completely freaked out when I thought I spotted a rat under my bed the first night... yeah, it was somebody's old weave. I got it out of there and threw it away, and it was nasty! :D
