I watch Lilith, Torrin and sometimes Loepsie - but Lilith is the one who thaught me most of the do's I've learnt.....even the channel of "cute girls hairstyles" is really useful!

And jjj and Cinnamon Hair and Hypnotica...

I like all of the ones mentioned. I've got Torrin Paige, Loepsie and Cutegirlshairstlyes on my subscriptions.. I really need to use some of the cutegirlshairstyles ideas that lady is awesome and her little girls are just sooo cute.. I'm just really lazy and don't tend to have time in the mornings so I just throw my hair into a top knotch bun and i'm away haha I should really branch out a little :P

Loepsie is adorable. I love her videos. And of course Torrin. Also binosusume does beautiful styles (and I love her little dog).

In addiction to the previous said, I like Ilovegerardo's hair tutorial, she has got black and thick hair and often makes pin-up styles. Very pretty!

I like torrin and cutegirlhairstyles I can't do any on my own hair but my 3 year old loves her hair being done plus seeing all that hair motivates me to keep mine healthy

Yep me too for all the above, although I think Lilith Moon must have the most well behaved hair, mine would never let me do half of her styles. And Torrin Paige makes me feel terrible thickness envy.

I like Torrin and bishonenrancher. Because, aside from hair styles they also describes the things they use and give advice on how to get long hair.

beautyklove has beautifu hair, although her videos are extremely lengthy and kind of annoying after a while!

Habioku. Followed by Loepsie and Torrin Paige. And bishonenrancher.

Arrow Oden is a great gal for me, I can mod a lot of her styles to my length and we have similar thickness and hair color, though mine is getting more silver. I also like ladollyvita33 and her other page ladollyvita333, janet stevens does historical usually roman styles which are super cool imo. I have a ton more who's names escape me.

Lilith Moon uses hair extensions. I'm not positive, but I think the point of her channel is actually to sell Glam Time hair extensions. Regardless, she does some amazing hair styles and I've definitely tried to recreate some of them.

I like Lilith Moon instruction. She made a lot of quite complicated styles easy for me.

Torrin Paige and Lilith Moon for me. :)
My hair is very slippery and doesn’t behave very well, but I tried to recreate some of their styles anyway…

Some of Lillith Moon's styles include the use of glam time hair extentions some do not. She also does non hair related tutorials. She states that her hair is not as thick or long as she would like and that she uses extensions. She never says anything like, you have to buy these to make this style work.

I really enjoy watching videos by Torrin, of course; also Lilith Moon, Raychel Emmons, Janet Stephens, La Dolly Vita - all great braiders.
I also like FordQueen and Leolilie who are doing vintage style on long hair (hip length, I think).

CuteGirlsHairstyles, x3HaHa, Litilith moon and Gia Nasim are my current faves.
I like LuxyHair too but they use extensions and don't really encourage natural hair, however, their hair tutorials are worth watching :)

I keep trying to find long hair guru's now days and I am having a hard time. It is a mainly bunch of girls with BSL hair claiming they have magic tips that they used to get long hair. I don't consider BSL long anymore since being on here so those videos are disappointing. I would love to hear if anyone on here knows of any long hair guru's that still make videos now (since this is an older thread). My favorite is HolisticHabits. She does not post to regularly but her hair is absolutely beautiful.

I don't really follow long-hair/beauty channels, but I somehow stumbled across coffee&makeup (who is a member here!) years ago and she helped inspire my length goal. She may have even lead me here, I can't remember :P

I think beautyklove is my favorite hair youtuber, although some of her videos are a bit too much hocus pocus for my taste. But her hair is amazing and I like her DIYs and her personality and thoughts. Also CurlyPenny, she's very funny too.

22nd Century Natural Woman for 3c+ hair but I think she gives some really beneficial information for all hair types!

Beautyklove and Curly Penny for hair care. For styles: Torrin, Sarahlabyrinth, habioku, and Emi Longhairedatheart. Recently found Gio’s Wave, Lana Summers, and KayNaturals. The last two don’t have super long hair (~WL), but seeing others deal with similar mixtures of hair textures to mine and long hair is helpful, even if most of my curls are slightly looser but more frizz-prone. Gio’s hair is particularly impressive—I believe his is well past classic.

I love coffee&makeup (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC65c3RBX2JI-m6UNOmzi6w)! Here are some other channels I have found useful:

Andrea 691 (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUGaz6ttiNnOKs8PgEFaO7w) (part of LHC)
JJJLonghair (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmCl7eJHnwuTiXhveKhKUuw) (part of LHC)
holistichabits (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX7hbrZOkAQX7ugsX-5M0rQ)
Silvousplaits (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4xXyid5JEhjuJWpIWXhszQ) (re-creations of hairstyles from TV and movies)

I hope you enjoy them!

Bernardine L'Ermite is our Mimha. Her vids are beautiful, often shot in French, but with English sub titles.

I love watching people from here on youtube :) Especially JJJ, she has amazing videos if you just want to look at all that hair :crush: (and great tutorials!)
Most are already mentioned, but I don't see Gossamer here - her chanel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTH6aLk13wDc9BpAnEsBIiA)

And I also like Green Beauty (https://www.youtube.com/user/GreenBeautyChannel) and Curly Proverbz (https://www.youtube.com/user/remz316) :) A lot of DIY, although oriented more for a completely different hair type that I have, but I still learned a lot

Why has no one posted Steph Arizona (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMii3NQGbl0-IHgVY1cNwyg)'s channel here yet? Her hair is gorgeous! I like her all-natural philosophy, even though it doesn't always work for me. Her hair is very similar to mine in texture, so I get the inspiration to grow my hair from her! And coffee&makeup, I love her videos too. Those are the only long hair youtubers I watch regularly.

Sometimes youtube recommends me hair care videos from other youtubers, so I know most of the names mentioned in this thread, but I'm not subscribed to any of them.

I love Silvousplaits for hairstyles, but since she doesn't do hair care / hair growth videos, I don't consider her a long hair channel.

Lots who are already mentioned.

I think that Emi Longhairedatheart deserves an honourable mention even if she hasn't posted for a few years. I find her videos relatable (yes I know that's not a real word) and inspirational.

I used to love to watch Prussia. I have no idea what ever happened to her videos. They're just not there anymore.
And I like Haartraum.

I like Coffee and Makeup because she has a very similar hair type to me. Some of the other long hair YouTubers have super thick hair, like Beautyklove, something that I will never have. I find those hard to relate to.

For some strange reason I enjoy watching Raw Alignment's videos where she combs out her dreads. (Yes, call me weird...maybe it makes me feel less crazy when detangling my own hair?) She has lovely blond hair at my goal length. Maybe in my next life, sigh...

Agreed! I love holistichabits! She uses natural hair care and is genuinely concerned about the health of hair and not just looks.

I only watch the videos of holistic habits, beautyklove and lovvesammay because i like their personality, most of these guru videos have more of an entertainment value to relate to but i wouldn't necessarily call the practical.

I did some simple maths on this thread (which is great, I know how I'm going to spend this evening!) And the top most mentioned channels are Torrin Page (15.4%), Lilith Moon (9.6%) and loepsie (7.7%). Also up there are jjjlonghair, coffe&makeup, cutegirlshairstyles and holistichabits. All of those have posted within the past month and should be good places to start (I hope!)

Also for those interested I could find no correlation between number of subscribers and the number of mentions on this thread

I love watching Gossamer's (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTH6aLk13wDc9BpAnEsBIiA/videos)videos! Even though she's technically not a Youtuber, her videos are my favorite. I hope to have floor length hair someday, so just watching her braid and bun her hair is so fascinating for me. I wish she'd just post videos of her putting her hair in different styles - words are not needed. :p

I'm surprised Haartraum (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmyemrOguOEbKMH9IOdLqaw)hasn't been mentioned yet either, since her hair is probably the ultimate goal in terms of thickness/health, haha.

For tutorials, Hypnotica (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCM1QoYYnH_XwQCeWUQthsVA)and Habioku (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmRmXTLKSr9i_8Bcn3di-uA) have the easiest to follow videos, in my opinion.

Holistichabits is anything but practical! She just flaunts her pancakes and Tada! She is a YouTuber. Oh and of course her expensive natural products that don't do anything to my hair. Trust me I tried natural things and I still come back to my beloved Cien and balea.
If you want natural products check Steph Arizona. At least she does explain how she does her updos. Holistichabits posts a tones of beautiful unrealistic pancaked braids without explaining anything. Meh.
Me and coffee&makeup have the same fine , slippery hair and i think quite the same thickness.
torin paige can make Greatest tutorials on youtube. Oh and entertaining of course.
I also like Claudia Klein (eresh). Because she has fine straight 1a hair she has found great methods to keep her buns stable for the whole day.
Well the others are pretty much already mentioned. Love Prussia, gossamer p, emi longhairedatheart and jjj

I love Vivian V's hair videos, and I literally just watch her mainly because I am jealous of how thick and long her hair is. It's so beautiful and I wish I could have it, lol.

A really great channel for beautiful and in depth braid tutorials is LearnDoTeachHairstyles. Very sweet mom and daughter duo, and Gracie the daughter has three foot long hair! So these styles are meant for people with long lengths, and her thickness is to die for. Here's a link to their YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn4_KJIfEy2QAs9wahIBykQ

I love coffee and makeup! I think her videos are really informative like when she explains why she still sometimes uses sulfates/silicone not to mention she is good make up inspiration. Her makeup and hair always looks natural but so well done. Also I totally relate to her because we are similar age/career, etc. I also watch Longhairproblemsxo just because I think her hair is so beautiful and shiny and I think her tips are useful too.

I like holistic habits but I find her hair tips to be a little too high maintenance. I still admire her though!

Oh also, when coffee and makeup remarks on her gray hairs, I am like YAAAS!! I don't have any gray hairs (yet) but I hope when I do get them I'll be able to do as she does and appreciate them and not freak out about getting old.
