Hey LHCers, I colored my hair at home with belle colour (golden brown) however my hair turned copper, like a penny. Is there anyway I can fix this and maybe get a reddish brown shade by coloring at home. I was thinking of using ash brown but I'm afraid of my hair turning green or something really far from reddish brown. I thought of using a neutral light brown....any idea if that might work???

I know a hair salon would be th bst but I really can't afford that right now.

I would try an ashy color gloss first. Unless belle is a deposit color only. I'm worried about the peroxide on top of more peroxide from the previous dye.

I corrected my bright brassy blonde with an ashy blonde tone.

If you're scared of green or grey tones, either do a gloss as ^ suggested or try a strand test.

I strand tested.
