Hemline Advice, Please!

I am getting bored with my hair and want a change but only a small one. I am thinking about trimming my hair just a little and can't decide on which hemline would look better for my hair. I am partial to a V shape and don't really care all that much for blunt. My hair is pin straight and tapers alot. What say you? V, U, or Blunt?

I vote for V!! I don't care for blunt hemlines either. I think a V hem would look lovely with your straight hair. :)

I would say a shallow V, not too pointy! V/U.

I vote for blunt, being fine straight and thin as well that is my goal because it can make the hair look so much more full and thick, it's just even and you can do updos and braids nicely. You don't really like the blunt so I vote soft U shape :)

I love the softness of your current hemline - I vote U-shape. It's not as dramatic or as much of a PITA to grow out as a deep V-shape, less layers to pop out of updos, and the ends will be easier to tuck under buns than a blunt straight-across hemline. If you were desperate for a change though, you could have a trim just to refresh the ends if they need it. :)

I think you could definitely don a V with awesome results. Angeletti's V-shape comes to mind. It's stunning.

I vote a U because of all the reasons already stated, plus your hair is already edging that way so it won't be a huge loss of hair. :)

blunt vote here :-) I know most people don't like blunts but us thin and fine hairers need a blunt to look as tho the hair is thicker .. a V would only make it look very thin .. a U would look good but I personally think a blunt for thin hair ..

I agree! It's less harsh compared to a blunt hemline and if you are looking for a fuller hemline then it's a good choice! :cool:
