Besides OH and NJ? I can't seemto find any listings and I am so hoping that there is one within reasonble driving distance from me.

OH is 13 hours to Columbus and NJ, way too far, also.

Anyone? :bunny:

I'd even accept "salon where they wont butcher your hair to pieces"

There's Catherine's (http://catherinessalon.com/) in Virginia. There used to be one in Georgia, but as far as I know, it has closed (or at least the long hair specialist has left the salon). Check out our list of long hair friendly salons (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=11326) for both GM and non-GM salons.

I will look up the one in VA that Flaxen recommended...........I may be able to *swing* that one.......lol.

I can't believe that there isn't a single good long hair salon in the Carolinas. I wonder how much hair I would have to sacrifice to find it though?

I know Cainwen, and I am tired of doing just that. I would love a GM salon and would be willing to pay for it, but I can't drive 7-13 hours one way.

I'd recommend my stylist if you're in the North Carolina area. She's not a GM stylist or long hair specialist or anything fancy but I love her and she has been cutting my hair for a few years now. She trims as much as I say I want and sometimes even less and she never tries to talk me into a shorter or more "trendy" cut and loves that I'm growing out my hair.
