Starting point, 7/26/2010. Longest layer is 2". And that, folks, was a really bad hair day. Ugh.

I let it grow for four months, and then decided to get rid of the mullet. My head is tilted down, so you can't really see how long it is in the back. Here is before, on 11/29/2010:

Your growth is fantastic of course but Gosh you've had some really pretty styles along the way! I like the color of the temp dye - looks super on you. You did a waaaay better job than me of growing out your pixie!

Congratulations on making the first year! It looks great and you made the best of your short lengths, wow. The curly style is great and the red is adorable -I don't mean because it'sd red (though the color is lovely too) but the whole style is just CUTE.

So there is hope? Thank goodness! My short hair is driving me bonkers! All those people who say short hair is much easier to manage have either a; never had thick wavy (almost curly) hair and b; never lived in a climate where it rains 162 days of the year! I have never been so frustrated with my hair until I cut it off.

:D Thanks, everyone! I'm much happier with my hair longer! It is frustrating trying to grow out a pixie without looking like a total dork. But, thankfully, it only took a year to get to something that I'm happy with daily. :D
