I oiled my wooden hair forks from Etsy last night. They look like new, all gleaming and lovely! The purpleheart one looks especially awesome. I used shea oil that I just happened to be slathering on my feet, heheheh!
I'm so happy with the result that I'm posting the dancing cheese! :cheese:

Yeah, I play the flute and I have to oil my wooden Irish flutes and my wooden piccolo. So I noticed my forks were looking dry and dull and I was like, "duh. My dad even oils his vintage rifles, what am I doing neglecting my expensive wood hair forks?!"
So - yay!
Wait. Now I'm eyeballing the "barrel oil" my Dad uses on his guns...

Very good advice =) I think my wooden comb looks okay from getting oiled when I comb oil through my ends!

I oil my Ric Carpenter comb whenever I oil my hair. It keeps it in condition too, plus it helps the comb glide through my hair.

Yup I regularly oil my wooden hair toys.
The bearreis (not that I can remember how to smell it) even came with instructions to oil it, as a little hint
