Pony-braid II~ this time using a waterfall technique (pictures)

I tried something new this last Sunday~ using a technique I learned from Lilith Moon's new video.
Here are a few pictures:

Lilith can explain it much better than I can! If you watch her video (on Youtube and Facebook), I first made two small English braids at the top, then I put the rest of my hair in a low ponytail.

Here is where Lilith's braid came in: instead of doing this wrap-around waterfall braid on loose hair, I did it on my ponytail.

Then, after continuing the wrap-around waterfall braid about halfway down the length of my ponytail, I fastened my hair with a ponytail holder. I made a rope braid with that lower half of my ponytail, folded my hair up underneath, and wrapped the rope braid around the base of my ponytail, so it resembled a rose bun.

Then I wrapped my two English braids around that and fastened the whole thing in place with a butterfly clip.


It's one of those styles that looks much better in person, rather than in these pictures which were taken kind of late in the day. But, anyway...

Back to the topic of hair, I like this ponytail braid but to be honest I liked the first one better :p for some reason, the other one looks more 'put together'

I'd like to try it the way Lilith demonstrates, but haven't had time...I have NOT been busy cleaning the house LOL :)

Oh, that's funny! I didn't do half as good as she did,
but discovered a new style in the process so I guess it all evens out :)


I want to try it again, with a longer ponytail...maybe next week...hmmm...
