Am I allowed to post in old, inactive threads (as in threads from 2010 and further back)? Just wondering because it's not allowed in many other forums but I haven't seen any direct prohibition against it here, but I just want to make sure.

It's not strictly prohibited here at LHC. One mod said to me that if and old thread is bumped, there must be an interest in the topic again (or something about the natural flow of conversation or something).

It drives some people crazy, but sometimes I like seeing old topics pop up again :flower:

Here, it seems to be generally preferred than making a new topic about something that's already been discussed at length.
