I knew I had this picture somewhere and just found it in my phone. This is my eldest sister, aged 58, with her all grey hair! This picture was taken about 1 1/2 years ago when we went to a wine festival and she keeps it around this length.
She's always had really nice, blonde hair.

Omg, I'd LOVE my hair to look like that! Did she always have hair this light? I'm afraid of going through the salt and pepper look, I just want all white hair. :D

We all (my brother and two sisters) had blonde hair when we were young that gradually turned light brown. She kept hers dyed platinum blonde all her life so when she went grey (WHITE) there wasn't much transition.
The ends of her hair here are still the blonde that she always was.

Wow, stunning!
My muma is just about going grey aged 42 ( which is pretty old to just start greying ) and she is going to just go all white naturally although her head is shaved super short.
White hair doesn't 'age' your sister at all, she looks absolutely beautiful!

She and I went to a Ghost Hunters (Yes, with J and Grant!) event at the Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire and one time she walked past a group of people and she heard a young woman say, "Someone who lets their hair go grey like that is probably pretty cool." :)

Even though I'm only 18, I'm still kinda looking forward to having beautiful long silvery hair :) It's just so pretty when it's healthy and taken care of!
I was at Bed Bath & Beyond (where is the 'beyond' part of that store ayways?) and this woman was standing in front of me in line and she had the most beautiful silver hair I think I've ever seen. It looked like starlight, absolutely stunning.

She's gorgeous! Lovely, lovely shade. My parents both have very nice grey/white tones, so I'm hoping I'll be as lucky. Wanting to rock my greys is actually the only reason I haven't run off to henndigo my hair for life. If there was only a way to dye my hair black without hindering the silvers.

I hope my hair looks like that. I've never really colored my hair, but I look forward to maybe having a new color naturally some day.

Right? Just skip the transition and go straight to a crowing halo of silvery magnificence. I suspect the transition will be challenging for me and I will have to learn to love salt and pepper.

I have a silver streak started, but your sisters hair is my goal.
Thank you for posting. I wonder sometimes how to get from the long hair I have now with beginning grey to what I want in the future. I do not want to color. Both my grandmothers and my great aunt all had beautiful silver hair so I have something to look forward to. My mom colors, so I don't have a timeline.

I hope it runs in the family! My mother always colored hers and she passed away at only 66 years old so, I don't know how her hair would have grayed. I have two very definate streaks in the front but I just henna'd it. If/when mine gets more gray than color, I'll gladly let it go. :)

Her hair is soo pretty!! I wish my hair will do this once I start graying, which *should* be very far off. (My dad's side of the family greys early and my hair is a dark color) Mostly likely I will be rocking the salt and pepper look. But thanks for showing us your sisters lovely hair!
