I recently got 4.5 inches cut off because my hair was very dry and unhealthy. I went from past waist length to just past BSL. It feels strange having shorter hair but now its healthy and I can start growing it long again :cheer:

Good for you, SexyWitch!

Starting with a "fresh slate" (as it were) is the best way to begin your long hair goal! Good luck and happy growing!

Good for you!

It's a lovely feeling to have nice new ends.

I agree. And you are now armed with the knowledge to keep those ends looking lush, and you'll be at your goal before you know it.;)

I've cut at least that much off several times during my hair-growing journey. After awhile, the ends get too mangled to be saved. I keep hoping I can find the right routine to prevent losing my ends, but so far - no.

I can't wait until my dyed ends are long gone..
Currently have only an inch of roots for three month growth. Sigh

I started over a year and 3 months ago, and I'm so glad I did :) My hair is so much better now.
