Am I going mad, or is this also thought to be a good method for long, dry, wavy hair? I searched for a thread but couldn't find one. Is there one?

I haven't yet tried such a method but am trying to stop over-conditioning my hair which makes it flop and lose shape.

Instead, I've been conditioning first and then shampooing and just leaving it - sometimes spraying in a little leave-in conditioner. However, it seems rather woolly and dry to me, although it holds curl better.

I thought CWC washes concentrated the 2nd application of conditioner on the ends only, avoiding the scalp.

Se, I knew it! Thanks for the links. I tried #CWC in the search bar earlier and got nothing. Oh well. Thanks again.:p

I CWC with diluted shampoo. If my hair seems unusually limp, I'll skip the 2nd conditioner application, but most of the time I do both.

I ALWAYS keep conditioner away from my scalp. I still produce plenty of my own sebum, so conditioner on my scalp is a definite over-do.

I wet my hair, and condition my whole head, leave on about 5 min (or sometimes I put CO on dry hair and wait an hr, then wash), and then wash again with CO right away.... I include my scalp, always.

I do cwc's and sometimes I co.
For cwc I put a light conditioner on the hair from the ears down, then I use a mix of shampoo and water usually 50/50 to wash scalp and then rinse off everything. Then a heavier conditioner all over, leave on for a couple of mins then rinse:D
