In a weeks time I'm leaving for a backpacking holiday in South India.
My hair is doing ok, ends are always a bit dry and I had a lot of splits recently that I S&D'ed. I've finally reached bsl and am on my way to waist and would off course like to keep my hair as healthy as I can.
I'm going to do a henna right before we leave and I did a deep oiling this night. I will off course be covering my hair as much as possible and will wear it either in braids or a bun ....
Any suggestions as what I can do more ?
(This is the first time I really worry about my hair on holidays, but I remember last time I was growing my hair the holiday in Greece was the last straw for my hair, afterwards it was a dry, split and fuzzbally mess !)

You could keep it coated in some coconut or jojoba oil all the time and then keep that in a french braid, and then a hat as well.

Wow India!
I am jealous too! :D I regret I didn't visit India when I was living in Asia.. I am sure is a very interesting place to go! Well some day...
About your hair, I agree with the coconut oil!
Also, you can go around and search for some nice indian hair stuff once there as well, I am sure they have tons of hair care produts, Indian ladies have such a gorgeous hair! Don't forget to cover your hair and keep it up.
If was me, I will come back with lots of indian hair care products...
Have a nice trip!
