The old and the new

I found this picture in my mother's bedroom closet after her passing and I had it restored (the original is a colorized photo). I believe it is my great-grandmother and I'm trying to find someone in the family who would know.

The hairstyle is interesting, it's probably in a bun. On the back it has written in pencil the colorizing instructions... "Hair - Chestnut, Eyes - Brown, Skin - Fair, Drape - Black, Diamond horseshoe in hair."

Many people have said that I look like her.

One guy friend said that she looked like a bruiser! She does look sturdy and no-nonsense.
