Over two years later..

I joined this site over 2 years ago.. I logged in today for the first time since January 2009..

I started growing my hair in 2008 around the middle to end of the year..

I cut it once in order to take out layers when it was around chin length and then I cut it the end of last year to add some layers back in (Doh!).

Its now been around 3 years since I have started growing my hair (from 1/4 inch length all over). I never thought I would say this, but it is armpit length.. This is the longest my hair has been since I was around 6 years old.

I think we were on the same journey:DI had a pixie, and started growing it out in the summer of 2008. I have hair about the lenght of yours, dark brown, wavy/curly:). Hope we reach our target lenght. I'm relieved to see that my hair growth is not as slow as I imagined.

Thanks everybody! I remember when I joined I felt like I had the shortest hair on here and felt so out of place. I searched for progress pictures of others with short and hair and found a few so it was inspiring to me. Though, it seemed like it would take forever for it to grow as long as even chin length. The time did seem slow at times but looking back now it has flown by! Now I have a hard time remembering what short hair feels like.
