Hi all......I think this is my 1st post, but I've lurked for awhile. =)

I have solid BSL hair now, and I'm very up-do challenged. All i know how to do is a scrunchie bun. I need a quick style that I can do in 30 seconds in the bathroom at work, that is hopefully more fashionable than my scrunchie.

Oh and I think I'm 1a iii M. (Hopefully I got that right =)

Thank you!

Hve you checked the articles? There a few things you could do.
If you have a hairstick(or a pencil or pen) try this.

Another way of doing that i found easier for some reason, these two are very sturdy.

The sticky thread at the top of this forum is a great resource: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=8235

Natilus Bun and French Twists are great on BSL hair.

something my friend uses is african butterfly clips. she twists hair hair into a bun, and slides the clip into it. she can do it in about a minute and it doesn't come lose, its also quite cute.:)

Seconding the spin pins! Once you get used to using them, you can do all sorts of chic buns and twists quickly, and they seriously hold. You can also pull out, or leave out, little strands of hair from the bun for a super messy, casual look, and there's no obvious scrunchy or hair band visible.

I find these http://www.flexi8.com/ great for holding various bun's and folded braids they look pretty to. The lazy wrap and pencil bun are very easy to do, good luck.
