SOLD -- AND SHIPPED!

These probably top the category of Things-darkwaves-should-not-have bought... Birch hair forks.

But I had an idea that if I could figure out how to paint them, they might be fun to play with. And that was a good idea, or would have been, if I was at all crafty... Which I'm not.

I tried painting one and sticking a pretty thing on it, and I really think the idea has potential, for those who can figure out how the finer points of glue/paint/sparklies/shinyness work... But I can't, so these are now languishing in a box.

I have two pairs of these birch forks (I'm calling them blanks because I think this wood is too soft to be snag-free in hair without a good coating of sealant, at least. I used acrylic craft paint, followed by a spray varathane for shine.)

Here are the forks:

And, here's an example of what a clever person could do far better than: (great sentence!)

Total length: 5.75"; prongs: 4.5"

Price includes shipping in North America (about $8, because of the irregular shape), and PayPal fees.

Total: $15 for all four (for US and Canada; elsewhere, a few $ more. I can confirm total).

Bonus: I'll toss in my experiment at fork decorating for free!

Fine print:

Price = US$, unless you're Canadian, then as usual, C$ is fine.

PayPal only.

Will ship worldwide -- it's just as easy as local, but may cost a couple of $ more.

Thanks for looking.
