how long would you say her hair is?

I think it's an U hemline, so it's harder to tell, but I'm guessing the tip of it is just shy of waist, perhaps with an inch or so. Counting the wave, it might just be true waist when wet.

Her hair was actually longer than that (I think, I can't tell the length in this pic). When she first started it was about knee length, and further along in her career she started going shorter. Classic, TBL, waist then MBL.

To OP, since she is turned to the side and there is a slight wave in her hair, I'd say MBL or Waist length.

At any length Ruslana had gorgeous hair!!!!

Actually, the two pictures are part of the same editorial, so I think that she still has knee-length hair in the firts one, but as you said, since she is seated it's hard to tell.
