Why is it so dank?

My hair is feeling really dank and wieghed down, I posted about clarifying shampoos which I am going to buy tonight, do you think it could be the conditioner I am using, I have swapped to a new one that was great at first but now just feels so wieghed down and lifeless like it has to much product on it or something.

Do try out the clarifying shampoo first and skip that conditioner you mentioned just to see how your hair feels. If it no longer feels 'dank', you can then decide if you want to switch to another conditioner. It could just be a case of build up from a prolonged period of using that conditioner so you don't necessarily have to stop using it if it worked fine for you. Just be sure to clarify whenever your hair starts feeling weird again.
