Hooded dryer causing flat top

I bought a nice hooded dryer from Sally and love it except for one thing...I get flat top! I've tried taking clips to pin up the top but it just makes it dry funky lol
Advice? Thoughts?

I've got one of those. I also find that I don't get any volume on top, and I also find that the underneath stays wet. But I still wouldn't be without it, as my curls stay in place, so I get a lot less frizz.
