Hi everyone! I'm having a hard time finding good horn or bone combs (of different kinds... some with big gaps between them, some not, etc), not from eBay.... And that ships to Canada....

Thanks!!! :)

There's epstone on etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/epstone

I bought mine from vn handicraft: http://www.handicraft-vn.com/shop/comb-horn-premium-natural-horn-comb-c-200_88.html I actually really like these ones. Keep in mind that sometimes he ships really late so if he doesn't send you a shipping notice just ask him about it.

I can't speak to quality as I haven't gotten mine yet, but I ordered one from http://www.etsy.com/shop/Leginayba?ref=ss_profile - they have them for about $4US

I have one from Heavenly Harvest, and I absolutely love it. I use it every day.

Got my Leginayba comb today. Considering that it came from Indonesia, it was pretty reasonable shipping time. It's a good heavy piece of horn, with the slightest bit of hint to it, but it doesn't look like it was sanded after it was cut, so I'll have to sand it myself before it comes near my hair. Not too bad if you're looking for something cheap and willing to do a little bit of work on it yourself. (I also bought forks from them, and I have to say the nicest ones are the ones they lable as 'natural' shape, which is wavy. The tines aren't as sharp as my Grah-Toe fork so it's harder to put into my hair, but other than that it seems like a good value for the money. Their paua and/or abalone shell inlays seem to be nicely done and flat, but the coral and mother-of-pearl fork I bought has a round of shell attached to it that isn't inlaid at all.)

Hair Sense (http://hairsense.com/bone_combs.php) makes awesome bohn combs! (They're actually seamless resin, not real animal bone)

Here you can find horn combs in any and all pharmacies, nothing fancy, the regular stuff (http://www.parfumerie-en-ligne.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/300x/5e06319eda06f020e43594a9c230972d/P/e/Peigne-corne.png), but it does the job perfectly. I've had one like this since my childhood, standard stuff.

There's a bunch of links in the top left corner of the site - the one that says Empire (their brick&mortar location) has them, too. I love the one I got a few weeks ago :)

I've purchased several horn combs from Quecraft on Etsy. Good prices, good service and a good selection.
