I need to find a frangrance-free shampoo. My dermatologist recommended "Free and Clear" Shampoo but I need something I can find at walmart or the dollar store. Any ideas?

I have been doing WO for over a week sionce I found out that I was allergic to perfumes in my environment. I had had hives on my back for years not realizing that is what it was. So now I have to use different personal products and laundry soap etc.

I don't want to continue "water only" because I am in hot Texas and I want to use shampoo and condish after sweating all day.

So any ideas?

There's a list of fragrance free products here: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=47921

And a thread with a couple of suggestions:http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=72680

I hope you can find something that works for you.

It's not actually what you're asking for, but would you consider shampoo bars? Many (CV's bars, for example) are scented with essential oils or have no scents added. No artificial perfumes, at least, and while you can't buy them locally, they last for ages.

If you are close to a Sally's...a bunch in Texas!:D

These work well...

I am in Texas and my order takes about 2 days to get to me by mail...

You could also try a plain poo bar...
I have a couple on the way I am going to try...
