I wanted a whole thread dedicated to this and I haven't seen one around yet.

And I don't mean to make this about one hair texture.

I personally on some days want my hair curlier, and some days straighter... I never use straighteners or curling irons anymore. It's tempting but it has caused so much damage to my hair in the past. Most days I'm okay with my hair texture, though.

What are the natural ways to make hair curly? Straight? Wavy? Kinky, even?

It depends on hair type, I guess. For me, getting my wavy hair straight is just a matter of combing it damp. Getting it curly can be done with rollers like rag rollers or something. Kinky could probably be managed with a lot of small braid left in for a day or so.
