Hi , I have curly hair . I use to have spirals naturally but now that my hair has pretty much reached bsl the curls have no definition. it's more like frizzy, the spirals are not there anymore.:(
I love classic curls (the style that was in the old days) Marilyn munroe days and all. Any one know how to get those curls with BSL hair? I'd prefer no heat...but if heat is the only way I'm willing to give it a try because I love it.:)

Marilyn's hair was done with the pin-curl method, which would be no heat. You can kind of see the hair set here:

What techniques are you using to enhance your own curl?

Have you tried plopping?? Also, there is some good advice on the Wurly and Curly thread for enhancing your own curl and getting better curl definition:

I've tried using leave in conditioners to help but it hasn't been working too well. Thanks I'll take a look at that thread.
