I have massed a collection of these, & find that they are all over the place on my dresser, I have tried to sort them out, anybody have ideas on a space saving way to store them & have quick easy access to them?

I now keep mine squished in a large jewelry chest. Before that, I used the cardboard scrunchie packaging to hold a bunch.

This is how I store my hairties, it should work for scrunchies too though? :) They're all on a loop of ribbon hanging off a hook on the side of my bookcase.

I bought mini plastic storage drawers at Walmart. I has 4 drawers so I can organize my hair ties by size, I also have my hair clips, bobbie pins, and hair cutting scissors in it. I put it in the bathroom cupboard

You can put them over a paper towel holder - the ones that are basically a dowel anchored perpendicular to a flat piece at the bottom.

I have a pretty basket for mine - also holds my hairbows, those great things from the 1980s: French barrette with fabric bow attached. The barrettes are clipped to a yarn braid so I can pull them all out at once and select what I want. Works ok.

I keep all mine in make up bags that I keep in my drawer :)

I just keep them in a little basket in my sock drawer.

I also use the plastic storage drawers for my hair and make up. Makes it so easy to find things. :) You could also untwist a wire hanger, leave the hook and bend the bottom and make yourself a scrunchie hanger that could be hung up.

I use a 24-pocket shoe organizer with clear pockets* -- the kind that hangs on a door. It's nice because it has tons of space and it's easy to see everything and easy to put things back when I'm done with them (so I stay organized). I keep hair elastics, the one scrunchie I own, claw clips, bobby pins, hair sticks, hair flowers, etc. in it, and there's definitely extra room for a growing hair toy collection.
*I stole this from CinnamonHair (she has pics of it on her website).

If you know somebody who generates a lot of CDs/DVDs, the "cake boxes" that stacks of 100 can come in make great scrunchie storage. They're a clear plastic cylinder with removable bottom that has an attached center spindle, and each will hold a dozen or so scrunchies. Sort of a short paper towel holder with a removable dust cover. I use 3 of them (warm colors, cool colors, patterns, and a 50-CD cake box for outrageous scrunchies that I probably will never wear).

BlazingHeart (upthread, in 2011) suggested a paper towel holder. The sort that's a spindle that holds a roll of paper towels vertical. I suppose a horizontal one (either with a dowel, or cardboard roll core) would work too, though it'd probably be a bit more of a pain to use.

You can put them on a carabiner! You can find extra large ones big enough for scrunchies (https://www.amazon.com/Durable-Carabiner-Stroller-Pushchair-Grocery/dp/B01C305JVO/ref=sxin_2_ac_d_rm?keywords=extra+large+carabiner&pd_rd_i=B01C305JVO&pd_rd_r=af42cb28-bf93-4db1-93d8-3057f4886521&pd_rd_w=EWehb&pd_rd_wg=JeTEA&pf_rd_p=91b604bb-c371-4573-970f-bed68a552852&pf_rd_r=A1DMHWCEWA64QXNGKC48&qid=1560831501&s=gateway) https://proxy.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fimg.allw.mn%2Fcontent%2Fle%2Fe4%2 Fx7d5asit563372dfd40a4645697337.jpg&f=1

blesseddamozel I do the same exact thing for my hair elastics, but with shower curtain pins. But I really like your idea of carabiners, those are a lot more user friendly!

That gave me an idea, one of those old fashioned extra large key ring (https://smile.amazon.com/Lucky-Line-Diameter-Threaded-79111/dp/B00LNV2RHY/ref=asc_df_B00LNV2RHY/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=193147589203&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11464428389904749883&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9021645&hvtargid=pla-305047141630&th=1)s that janitors use, you know before everything went digital.
My other suggestion would be a multi level pants hanger (https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/org-friction-4-tier-swing-arm-trouser-rack-in-black/1017578812?skuId=17578812) or axis hanger (https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/interdesign-reg-16-hook-over-the-rod-axis-hanger/3274280?categoryId=12210). Of course I'm not a scrunchie person. The couple I have are MIA and I'm in no rush to find them.

I actually put my scrunchies on one of my stuffed animals leg.
It's convenient for me and I don't lose them that way.

Okay I know this isn't space saving at all but just had to share this insanely cute idea that popped into my head.
Are you ready for it? It's kinda crazy.
Now I don't foresee me getting into scrunchies at all but if I did I think I've thought of the perfect way to display them in all of thier beautiful glory. I would use a metal ornament tree (https://www.wayfair.com/The-Holiday-Aisle--Decorative-Ornament-Tabletop-Tree-THLA3393-L6364-K~THLA3393.html).
I just cannot get that idea out of my head. So if anyone ever tries this idea out, even if it's just for giggles around X-mas time, I'd love to see the results.
