Hello everyone! I got this claddagh hairslide (http://www.mauiceltic.com/shop/prod-index.php?prodid=123) for Christmas and still have yet to figure out how to wear it in my hair. (I can't get it to stay in place!)

Does anyone else have hairtoys shaped like this? How do you use them? It's so pretty, I'd like to be able to wear it for once!

Thanks! :)

Oops, sorry if this would have been better-suited to the hairtoys page.

I had a problem finding a new way to use one I have like this too. A pony is the obvious choice. If it doesn't stay, I put an elastic in and put the stick through the pony. My hair is getting too long to use it with a french twist but yours may work.

I actually had that EXACT hairslide! Word from the wise, the wood broke off after only a few uses. If that happens, then as long as you find a replacement, you should be fine. :)

I agree with the french twist suggestion.

The curve is kind of shallow on this hairtoy, so I'm not sure if a french twist is plausible with it. I used mine to simply accent a simple ponytail or half-updo.
