View Full Version : 2 year anniversary LHC

I joined LHC in April 2009 so I am a little late!

I have come a long way with my hair since April 2009, but my ends have remained thinner then what I would like, even after slow trimming and wonderful haircare, so I did decided to cut 6 inches off my hair today.

Last summer I reached classic length, and decided to cut my hair back to my hips.

It is closer to my waist now and my ends are thicker. I am happy with it and I can still use my hair sticks! :) Here is the picture I took yesterday before I got it cut today.

your hair is amazingly healthy looking and the thick hemline makes it even better! you did a good job growing your hair, my hair is like yours in 2009 so its some real inspiration.

Thank you! I needed a reminder as to why I'm growing it & caring for it & that glorious healthy happy length is just what I needed! Two years....

Your new length looks great! Even like a rather longish hip length!

So funny we cut 6 inches at the same time! I also feel a lot better, was not happy with a very tapered thigh length.

What are your growing plans for the future? I will maintain for quite a while since it will be easier for my hair to look decent after a possible post natal shed too. :)

Thank you!! I thought it was funny too. :D My plans right now are to maintain this length or just so I can keep my thicker hemline. I don't know if I will ever go back to classic length or tailbone. I didn't keep it that long but it is nice to know I got that far at least once. I am really happy with the way it is now. I suppose only time will tell. :)
