After I read stories and put my 3 little ones to bed, I take down my hair and brush it with my favorite boar bristle brush. Then I french braid it for bed. Only then can I have my Haagen Dazs caramel cone ice cream!
What is your bedtime routine, including dessert!

I put a t-shirt on my head and put a hairband around like a pony tail, then have a few chocolate strawberries or pretzels :)

After I get my three rowdy boys into bed, I like to have a cup of hot green tea with honey. If I wasn't trying to shed a few pounds, it would def be double stuff oreos and milk! Oh yeah! ... and I just started wearing my hair in a high bun in a homemade satin scrunchy, not as tasty, though. Lol

I usually lightly oil my hair at night and wrap it up in a silk scarf. Then I make some tea. Some nights for desert I blend up some berries in Greek Yogurt with some Stevia to make it sweeter.

If I've just washed my hair, I comb it out, put a little leave-in or oil, let it air dry for a bit, then damp bun on the top of my head.
Settle into bed with my laptop and a jar of nutella with a spoon. Yes, this is what is commonly referred to as "heaven."

I wash my face and put on my cream, take down my hair and carefully brush it while counting the strands shed for my shedding journey. I then brain or bun it and put it off alternating from putting it up to the right of my head, middle, and left to prevent thinning on my scalp. Dessert... :yumm: my boyfriend is my dessert

I dampen my hair and do a light application of coconut oil and then braid or bun it, then I put on one of DBF's t-shirts and make myself a big mug of tea and read a chapter out of whatever book I happen to be on (currently the gunslinger from the dark tower series). Such a good way to end my night :]

I just put it in a high bun ontop of my head, as it is too short for a braid. When it's long enough, I will do a long loose side braid over one shoulder.

Lately I brush my hair with my new cushy comfy paddle brush, making sure to massage my scalp with it. I put a tab of berry-flavored sublingual Biotin under my tongue and let it dissolve. Take other hair-related vitamins. Usually also some kava or peppermint tea, cuddle on the couch with my hubby, and watch some comedy or cartoons. Fiddle with and twist the ends of my hair, checking to see if it's grown any :D
Brush my teeth, go to bed, and sleep on my silk pillowcase! Hair is short now, so no need to put it up before bed.

Remove bun, comb, brush, braid - done.
As for dessert, I don't eat before going to bed. I'm very much of the belief that one should wake up starving hungry - so no post dinner treats :o(

Usually I do a deep oiling with coconut oil (co-wash it out in the morning) and put it in a high bun on top of my head. Going to get a satin pillowcase tomorrow (finally!). As for dessert, ben & jerry's cherry garcia ice cream, cookies (oatmeal raisin or oreos) or jello. I love sweets!!!!

I Dutch braid mine and go through a grueling facial washing! XD And, sadly, I'm sort of dieting, so no dessert currently... must fix this!

<Taking copious notes>
High bun, silk bonnet, brush oil braid, hm - think my hair might be a bit thin for the brush, but comb, oil, braid? Then scrootch down under the cover with a nice murder.
(Trying to gain hair & loose pounds - and I was raised to see a book as a longer lasting treat than a biscuit. I combined them. Ooops.)
So far have not found the desert that goes with a book - possibly just as well!

I brush, oil the ends, and then put my hair in two braids. I then curl up in bed with a book and a cup of herbal tea.

Brush it all out, then make my sister braid it for me. :P (I hate braiding my own hair for bed so it's her job!)

wow, everyone seems to have a set routine. I don't really have one except to brush or comb it out (only sometimes) and get tie it up somehow so it doesn't get too tangly while sleeping, either a high bun or high pony.
If i've washed it, i usually role it up in one big velcro roller so i'll have controlled waves instead of a random frizzy mess!

Wow! I really need to add some dessert into my bedtime routine! I pamper my hair but not my tastebuds; that will need correcting soon! I'm thinking Haagen Dazs or Ben and Jerry's, I'm craving ice-cream now that's its getting hotter!
Currently, if its a non-wash-hair-day, I detangle, lightly oil the ends of my hair with coconut oil, brush with my BBB then put it in a braid and sometimes wear my silk sleeping cap (I really should invest in a silk pillowcase as I'm an active sleeper who often turns and my cap sometimes falls off in the night).

Eat some cereal, braid the hair, and fall asleep :)

Take it down, comb with a wide-tooth comb for tangles, bend at waist and brush with BBB for 100 strokes, stand up and detangle again if necessary, brush the top side with BBB for 100 stokes. Then my daughter will braid it for me. Then it's off the sleep on my satin pillowcase. Oh yeah, I oil the ends lightly before braiding.

I am so bad at sticking to routines. It hair was braided that day, it stays 'til morning; I snuggle with DH as he watches baseball or some cool history show, (or some boring military/weapons show,) and let him eat the sweets these days unless my stomach is actually growling at night, (50 pounds gone; 50 more to GO!)
If hair was up or down, it is detangled and loosely braided before bed.

I have a shower, wash my face, get into my PJ's and then tied my hair up into a ponytail on top of my head (I leave it hanging off my pillow when I sleep so it doesn't get matted).
I then curl up into bed with my laptop, a book and a cup of tea/hot chocolate. I don't usually eat dessert before I go to bed but when I do it's always cookies or chocolate. ;)

Good thread and lots of witty comments!!! My hair is now washed upside down, combed upside down (I understand hair folicles love these 'push ups' but I don't want to have to comb over once or twice daily because of tangles, so I'm just leaving it defying gravity:D), and worn in a higher bun so at night I let out my bun bending over at the waist, finger detangle, some gentle massage and hair tugging, 50 strokes with a comb, and back up in a bun (coconut oil applied if necessary). Must have my bowl of Post's Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds and a melatonin tablet to help me sleep. And of course, must quickly check LHC to see if I missed anything!!

Bedtime routine:
1. Coconut oil hair at the ends.
2. Brush hair with a wide toothed comb followed by a BBB.
3. Braid into a single french braid.
4. Sleep!

I take a shower, CO-wash (unless it's my weekly actual wash), then curl up with the internet or a book and hold really really still while my hair dries. Then I go to bed and continue with internet/book for another hour or so. I need to get some satin pillow cases because I can't sleep with my hair up or covered.
No dessert for meee, sweets make my stomach hurt. :p

Oil and lightly comb hair, put on sleep cap, wash face, brush teeth, make a hot cup of dandelion or alfalfa tea then climb in bed. I work12 hour shifts and get off work at 8 am, so I don't spend much time eating after work! :( But it's a whole 'nother story on my days off!!!!:beercheer:I much prefer a cold beer to dessert! O yeah!!!!

Nowadays since I am wearing my hair straight I wet it and wrap it around so when it's dry in the morning it's almost pin straight. Then every other day I spray black tea in my scalp and then use it's moisture to put in monistat directly. My boyfriend is still dessert :D
