I don't know, maybe there's already a thread answering this question, but I couldn't find it. Anyway...

I naturally have dark ash blonde hair, and am growing out highlights and lowlights. I've probably got about an inch of growth showing. Luckily the contrast isn't too high between the two, but it's still apparent in my recent album photos. And it will be even more noticeable when I get to bob length.

I was wondering if honey lightening would lighten up my roots enough that it's not as noticeable. Or would it just lighten up all my hair and still have the same level between my roots and highlights?

You could just apply it to your roots, until they're the same as the length.
That's what I do, as it does make my blonde blonder
