I made this (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=71800) thread in the Products board, but didn't get any response. I can see it's not as popular a board as the Mane one, so I wanted to see if linking to it here might get any responses?

I have checked the sulfate- and protein-free shampoo lists, but a lot of them are not free of both ingredients, and also I've had not great experiences with some of the things I've decided to buy and try, so I figured I'd ask some people who had hair similar to mine what they like best so I don't go spend another $10 in vain. Thanks! :)

I checked out your other thread and I pretty much have the same hair type. I use Burt's Bees Super Shiny shampoo and conditioner and it has been working well for me. It really helps with damage and brings back moisture to my hair. Although I don't know if it also contains protein like the volumizing one.

Well I tried the tresemme naturals today and I am well impressed. The shampoo does have some sulphates but I dilute it so no biggie. The conditioner is conefree but strangely feels coney.

My all time favorite is tigi moisture maniac but tresemme takes 2nd place!

I like Kiss My Face, but way down on the end of the ingredients list is hydrolysed wheat protein.
