Okay so i am watching this movie for the first time tonight and wanted to ask anybody else who has seen it...

Does anybody else feel as disappointed as i do that in the animated parts Giselle has classic length hair but in the live action parts it's not even quite waist?

That's true. But in a way, it was highlighting the difference between Disney's cartoons and the 'real world' (which is the whole point of the film). Ella also didn't have an 18 inch waist as a real woman, but her cartoon version had a teeny waist. The same with the oversized 'Disney' eyes and so on and so forth ...
