Didn't there use to be an article for styles for each length? I need some new almost-APL styles.

That would be so awesome and helpful.

@Lilli...

That's an interesting concept..styles for various lengths.

You might like to try a half up..or perhaps a Gibson Tuck. Check out the Articles section (look in the Grey Menu Bar above) then click on the "Hairstyling" section then page thru the various styles).

You might also be able to do a simple Sock Bun.

Thank you. I have been working through the articles... but I swear when I was new there was an article... hmm...

I want to be able to wear the style in your avatar! 3 years, maybe.

There was a project by a few LHC members who listed what hairstyles they could do at what length, but it would be pretty hard to do by length since there are a lot of other factors (one being that we all have different thicknesses).

Hair style dictionary project threads:
Size Chart (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=10999)
Hair Lengths (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=11163)
Instruction Links (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=11763)

With that being said, here is an article (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=76) for updo ideas at shorter lengths.
