Oh my gosh, this happened to me once!!!! I fainted while getting my hair trimmed at a salon when I was probably 14 or 15. I had been sick and hadn't eaten and the stylist put me under the hot dryer thing for a little while, and I stretched to touch the back of my hair to feel how she cut it and I fainted.
But, I also am very, very prone to Vasovagal syncope...the sight of blood, the discussion of ANYTHING medical, birth, graphic scenes in movies, discussions in Bio class all trigger it, and I faint.

that happened to my oldest daughter last year. I was doing her hair before school and she just passed out in my arms. we called her dr who told us to take her to the er. they ran a bunch of tests and in the end just kinda shrugged and said "she seems to be fine now" glad to know what it was.
