I've been asked to sing at my cousin's wedding in the summer.
It is quite a small informal wedding and will be outside.
I don't want to wear my hair down in case it is windy but also don't want my hair to look too formal in a really structured updo.
Any suggestions on a pretty but not too over the top updo for mid back length hair?
My hair has a lot of slip so I need something with staying power!

Sorry to be boring but a french plait/braid with a nice glossy bun at the bottom would look great, or something a bit more fancy
I love this site

Just switch out the coloured bands for clear plastic 'no-more-snags' and use a more grown up hair flower?

I think a messy bun with a flower would be perfect

Make a messy bun slightly off center:

Pin a flower on the side of the bun that has more room:

I think I'll try a few french braids out and see how they stay in. I Love the flower idea... I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the advice.
